What we need

Severn’s Public Works Department is seeking a bid from qualified contractors for the rehabilitation of Narrows Road and Uhthoff Line, two rural low-volume roadways, through double high float bituminous surface treatment. The work involves pulverizing of the existing surface, placement of new granular base material, provisional chemical base stabilization, supply and double application of polymer emulsified binder (HF-150SP), and placement of Class 2 cover aggregates. This project also includes other provisional items such as culvert replacements and localized grade raises to support full completion of the treatment.

Township of Severn is looking for credible contractors who have the capability and experience to complete the work no later than 2025-10-30. It is important that the contractor demonstrate knowledge of surface treatment practices, effective site preparation, and rural road stabilization techniques.
