Township of Severn’s Public Works Department is looking for a Contractor to supply all labour, materials, and equipment required to apply Liquid Dust Suppressant in the form of calcium chloride solution at a minimum 35% concentration for gravel road maintenance purposes. There are approximately 57 kilometres of gravel roads that require the application of Liquid Dust Suppressant. The estimated volume of Liquid Dust Suppressant to be used under this Contract is 160,000 litres of solution; equivalent to 98,790 kg of pure calcium chloride solid (OPSS 2501 ‐ 1.357 kg per litre @ 455 kg pure calcium chloride per 1,000 kg 35% solution). |
