Township of Severn’s Public Works Department is looking for a qualified hauling contractor to supply all labour and equipment to haul, mix, and stockpile approximately 8000 metric tonnes of winter sand material and 480 tonnes of highway bulk salt for the Township of Severn’s Public Works Department. The screening of sand was previously completed and is stockpiled at Severn’s pit (raw material supplied by the Township). The hauling is to Severn’s two (2) separate works yard locations within the Township. The mixing will be to produce a uniform blend of screened winter sand with 6% coarse highway salt (supplied by the Township). The stacking of blended material will be into covered storage facilities at the works yard locations.
