What we need

Township of Severn is looking for an experienced consulting firm to lead the development of an Organizational Review and Implementation Plan. The purpose of the initiative is to undertake a review of the current organizational structure, operational functions, and levels of staffing and to then make recommendations that will enhance the organizational operations for current and future needs. 

The scope of work is expected to include: 

• a review of the current organization structure and alignment of departmental service responsibilities
• recommendations related to identified and projected service and staffing needs leading 10 to 20 years into the future
• provision of a phased implementation plan to action any recommended changes

The project should be completed by April 24, 2024. 

What is important to us

One of the four pillars in Council’s 2023 to 2026 Strategic Plan is to provide a customer service focus and our expectation is that this review will help us set a future vision for this. This is not a cost-cutting exercise. Township of Severn recognizes that it is poised for growth and may not have the number of staff or the organizational structure to efficiently manage future demand for services. Growth to staffing complement has happened organically and piece-meal over time and an overall review is needed to determine the most efficient structure to provide excellent services to our residents.
